A Maasai-crafted earring is the foundational component for this colorful pendant necklace. I added a teardrop-shaped jade pendant to the center of a poly-filled textile backing and a fringe made of glass, wood, and brass beads. A glass millefiori bead sits atop the pendant, which hangs from a 34" tie-on strap I sewed from vintage silk and commercial textile remnants. This is a one-of-a-kind item.
